Regardless of how you want to live, what ambience you are planning, homely or with strong design features, a residence in the country or a loft in the city – natural wood always adds atmosphere to the flooring. And the reverse also applies.

The construction.

Construction

THERE IS A CHOICE BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS:

+ 3-layer construction with top side and reverse side (tension and counter tension) in hardwood.

This is the most overall robust option. It has a total thickness of 15 mm.

+ 3-layer construction with softwood reverse side.

Durability guaranteed. It has a total thickness of 15 mm.

+ 3-layer construction with softwood veneer on reverse side.

Total thickness 13 mm.

+ 2-layer construction for all-over adhesion.

Ideal for renovation projects where a new floor is called for but does not require great strength. Total thickness 10 mm.

The top layer.

Only the best timber is selected to serve as the top layer of an Admonter wide plank floor. Top layer for softwoods and hardwoods: approx. 3.6 mm

A slight bevel.

This bevel intensifies the visual effect of every single plank and emphasises the unique wide plank character.

The transverse middle layer.

This reduces warping of the width of the plank and stabilises the top layer.

The bottom layer.

Consists either of the same wood species as the top layer or of softwood and thus serves to balance the natural forces of the timber.

UNSURPASSED STABILITY: WITH THE CLEVER 3 OR 2-LAYER CONSTRUCTION.

With Admonter FLOORs a 3-layer timber construction prevents the natural warping of the wood. Top sides and reverse sides of equal thickness (both 3,6 mm) keep any forces acting on the floor in check. This system is based on the smart principle of tension and countertension. The core layer runs at right angles to the outer layers and gives the board additional stability across its width.
