THE SURFACE TEXTURE OF A WOOD IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF ITS BEAUTY.

One of our many design secrets: any unusual features should be emphasised. This is why we are so keen on brushing, planing and enhancing. This gives the finishes of our natural wood panels a unique and captivating grain.

Softer sections of wood are brushed. This imparts a plastic finish to a natural wood panel. It is a uniquely effective way of revealing the pure sensuousness of the wood to the eye and the other senses.

Deep brushing along and across the panel enables it to be experienced to the full through touch as well as giving it an attractive appearance.

Planing in the direction of the grain produces a distinctive ripple effect. Those who walk around barefoot have most to look forward to in experiencing natural wood floors.

Planing in combination with deep brushing across the grain lends particular character to panels.

The softer parts of the wood are brushed and the intensitiy of the brushing is varied to be sometimes more and sometimes less. This gives the floor a 3-dimensional surface.

Admonter ELEMENTs are made up of several layers. This enables them to retain their original shape not only for many years but even for decades. The core layer is particularly instrumental in this respect. With natural hardwood panels there is a choice between four different options:

+ Hardwood with hardwood core
+ Hardwood with plywood core
+ Hardwood with 5-ply core layer
